COP 21 Paris

In October 2015 the Micronesian Navigator, a local transport ship, made a round-trip run from Chuuk Lagoon to the North West Islands of Chuuk State, stopping at over ten atolls transporting cargo and passengers.

Along the way, photographs were taken of the islanders and the impacts the atolls were having from climate change.

These photographs were then exhibited at the UNFCCC climate conference in Paris, France in November, just a few weeks after the ship completed its voyage to the outer islands.

These are the people who are truly on the front lines of a changing climate.
